Directed by Rohan Kulkarni · Produced by Micro Lens Films
Synopsis
For forty years, Sushma has sold Alphonso mangoes from the same corner of the Ratnagiri market. This year, a new highway has moved the traffic two kilometres east, the trees have fruited late, and her landlord has decided the stall is worth more empty.
Over the course of one week, Sushma and her grandson attempt to move forty crates of fruit, an old weighing scale, and a lifetime of regular customers. The film is a small, stubborn portrait of a woman who will not let a season go unsold.

Director's note
Rohan Kulkarni
“My grandmother sold mangoes in a market like this. She could tell the weight of a crate by lifting one corner of it. I wanted to make a film where that knowledge is treated with the seriousness of a craft.”
